Terms Guide
Welcome to Revenue Marketing's Terms and conditions overview.
Effective Date: March 3, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging Revenue Marketing ("the Company," "we," "us") for services or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
2. Web Design Services
Scope of Work: Services are limited to the items defined in the signed proposal or statement of work (SOW). Any "scope creep" (additional features) will be billed at our standard hourly rate.
Client Responsibilities: You must provide all necessary text, images, and login credentials in a timely manner. Delays in providing content may result in project timeline shifts.
Approvals: Once a design is approved and launched, further changes are considered new projects.
3. Payment Terms
Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before work begins.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due prior to the site going live or being transferred to your hosting account.
Late Fees: Payments overdue by 30 days will incur a late fee of 10% per month.
4. Intellectual Property & Hosting
Ownership: Upon full payment of the design fees, the Client owns the finished website design and site content. Revenue Marketing retains the right to display the project in our portfolio and marketing materials.
Third-Party Assets: Any stock photos, fonts, or plugins used remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to their own licensing terms.
Hosting & Maintenance Services: As part of the ongoing operation of the website, the Client agrees to pay a monthly hosting and maintenance fee based on website package. This fee is due on the 1st of each month.
Suspension for Non-Payment: Hosting services are provided on a pre-paid monthly basis. If payment for hosting is not received by the due date, Revenue Marketing reserves the right to suspend access to the website and remove it from public view without further notice. Service will be restored only after all outstanding balances and any applicable reinstatement fees are paid in full.
Website Migration: Should the Client wish to move the website to a different hosting provider, a migration fee of R2000 will apply, provided all accounts are in good standing.
5. Affiliate Marketing Disclosure
Nature of Content: Revenue Marketing participates in affiliate marketing programs. This means we may earn a commission on products or services purchased through links on our site or recommended in our materials.
Independence: We provide honest opinions and reviews. However, the presence of an affiliate link should not be seen as an exclusive endorsement. We are not responsible for the fulfillment, quality, or support of products purchased via third-party affiliate links.
6. Limitation of Liability
Revenue Marketing is not liable for:
Loss of revenue or data resulting from website downtime.
Changes in search engine rankings.
Actions taken by third-party hosting providers or software updates that break site functionality after delivery.
In no event shall our liability exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 7 days' written notice. If terminated by the client, Revenue Marketing shall be compensated for all work completed up to the termination date.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
